    1. Design the RC floor slab for a room of internal dimension of 4.5 m x 10m.

    Assume
    slab to be simply supported on 250 mm thick masonry wall. The slab is to support
    a live load of 5 kN/m2 and surface finish of 1 kN/m2. Use M 20 grade concrete and
    Fe-415 steel.

    2. Design a two-way slab for a room of 5 m x 3 m clear in size if the superimposed


    load is 4kN/m2. Use M25 grade concrete and Fe-415 steel. Consider (a) edges
    simply supported-corners not held down. (b) edges simply supported-corners held
    down.
