Hikvision net DVR/DVS remote connection

The First way: PPPoE in the router:


Step 1. Configure the IP, mask IP and gateway IP in the net DVR/DVS on device
(Figure 1) or by client software (Figure 2).

Step 2. Open 2 port 8000 and 80 for our net DVR/DVS in the router. Because the net
DVR/DVS has the default port are 8000 and 80. Also you can modify it, such as
8001,81 and so on. (Figure 3)

Step3. Configure the router and make sure that the PPPoE is successful. Then you can
see the router get an IP itself from the ISP. (Figure 4)

If you use the IE to connect, just input the IP and HTTP port in the address bar.
e.g. http://218.108.8.180:81.
Then the IE will display as the Figure 5. Just input the user name and password
and click login, you will enter into the main interface.
Notice: if you want to use the way of domain name (DDNS), you should
configure the domain name in the router and if the router DNS function is successful.
You can take the domain name instead of IP, and you can input the domain name in
the IE or client software (Figure 6). ex. http://hikvision.vicp.net:81. here
hikvision.vicp.net is a domain name.

The second way: The router use the static IP from the ISP.
Step 1. Configure the IP, mask IP and gateway IP in the net DVR/DVS on device
(Figure 1) or by client software (Figure 2).
Step 2. Select “Static IP Address” and complete the following configuration.(Figure 7
& Figure 8)

Step 3. Set the port map of 8000 and 80 for our net DVR/DVS in the router. Because
the net DVR/DVS has the default port are 8000 and 80. Also you can modify it, such
as 8001,81 and so on. (Figure 9)

Step 4. If you use the IE to connect, just input the static IP and HTTP port in the
address bar, e.g. http://218.108.8.180:81.
Then the IE will display as the Figure 5. Just input the user name and password
and click login, you will enter into the main interface.
If you use client software to connect, you can input the static IP in the „Add
Device‟ interface. (Figure 6)

The third way: Connect the internet through a PC with static IP (use IP SERVER
software)
Step1 : Setup IP SERVER software on a PC with static IP, and run it. (Figure 7)

Step 2: Input the PC‟s IP into the device‟s DNS server address.(Figure 8)

Then you can find the IP of DVR in the IP SERVER list.
Step 3: If you use client software to connect, you can add the device in client software
by select „Private Domain‟. (Figure 9)
