My personal speech

(Carl Sagan). Hi my name is Mateo Hernandez, I’m 19 years old. Always leave in Ibarra,

but now leave in Cumbaya because my career in the Universidad San Francisco, is

excellent and the way of thinking of the university is similar to my. Im study chemical

engineering. Chemical Engineering is the profession in which knowledge of mathematics,

chemistry, and other basic sciences applied to develop economical ways to use materials

and energy for the benefit of humanity. For this reason love this career. And in the future

think will go to the other country for study a specialization, and learning English is most

important.

I have many hobbies, but ride the motorcycle is my passion. Since I was a child, practice

every day in Ibarra, usually also went the beautiful track in Quito. My father always

supported to me in any situation, and ride the motorcycle is most expensive, but my father

help to me. Now don’t practice the sports because the homework’s, exams, projects, they

have taken my time, but in the vacation I promised myself, every day will go to the gym.

I think that don’t have many talents, in comparison for other people, but as far as I can, I
do well. In mathematics, chemistry, physics, ride the motorcycle, play the soccer, I’m

very good. I have a many goals in the future, they are my motivation for make the things

very well. My principal goal is graduate, and go to the important university in U.S.A,

after build the business. This is my principal dream, but the fears are always there. My

principal fear is fail.

Use my knowledge in the benefit for the community is the purpose of the engineer.

The improving people's lives is the work for the engineer. When have my own business,

always help the people in the chemical engineering area, and since the kid I like

help the people in what I can.

A good experience when I went with my best friends to the beach. We enjoyed it very
much, as the food is delicious, plus the weather was perfect. We met many people and it
was really exciting. I must go again
