Design Concept:
BUILDING ZONING:
The building is very interactive with the central atrium linked to all corridors.
The central atrium is also used for assembly or functions.
It has vertical zoning and divided into
3 levels which is further divided into two levels.
Ground floor: lower ground floor level and upper ground floor level.
Lower Ground floor level:
it has the same level as parking and includes admin and classrooms.
Few stairs up and via ramp the other part is upper ground level which is at higher
level but the flow of space and gentle slope one could not feel the change in
height.
Orientation:
Building is east facing , sun shading devices are the designed provided.
But on the southwest side users face the scorching heat during summers so
alternatives should be provided
Material
Walls: Concrete ,Brick,Concrete textured walls
Floor: Kota stone, Marble ,Terrazo flooring
GROUND FLOOR PLAN:
For the Classrooms on upper ground levelvthey are attached to the outer play areas
and its achieved by raising the whole platform to the same level .
The Ramp from the play area runs down to green lawn and merge with its level.
and similarly on the rightside ramp slopes down to parking area and the area
between the ramp and building accomodates parking on the lower ground level
thus taking the advantage of the spaces.
