KINGSLEY PLAYING FIELD – NEW PLAY EQUIPMENT

Kingsley Parish Council is pleased to report that 3 items of new play equipment will
be installed at the playing field over a period of 2-3 weeks commencing on Monday
26th February 2018. During this time, there will be some disruption to the current
play area and a number of items will be out of use. However, we expect the
enclosed toddlers play area, outdoor gym and large multi-play unit to remain open.

We would like to apologise in advance for any disruption to local residents whilst the
work is in progress. We have been assured by the contractors that any work will
take place only between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. We
are also expecting that any construction vehicles and storage units will be kept within
the boundaries of the playing field.

The following equipment is being installed: a 30m All Steel Cableway (zipwire), a
2.4m Rota Web Climber and a 2.45m Viking Swing along with associated blue wet
pour and safety matting (see diagrams below). The existing springer unit will also
be relocated as part of the project.

If you have any further queries or wish to make contact with the parish council during
the construction phase, please call Councillor Claire Jones on 01928 788567 or e-
mail her at: claire.jones@kingsleyparishcouncil.org.uk.
