1. Whenever possible before any session, these prayers should be preceded by prayers of
preparation, suitable fasting and abstinence. and recourse to the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The recitation of the Rosary is to be highly commended.
2. At suitable times, such sacramentals as exorcised salt, and blessed oil should be used. The use
of Holy Water must always accompany these prayers as many times as is prudent and helpful.
Introduction
In the name of Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, I bind you Satan, and all of your evil
companions on the earth, in the air, in all the elements, and all the Satanic forces of nature. In the
name of Jesus, and by my authority as a priest of Jesus Christ I bind you from any
intercommunication and interrelationship with each other I separate you completely from each
other. In the name of Jesus, I bind you from causing any disturbance, confusion, anxiety, or
manifestation of any sort. In the name of Jesus, I command you to be completely silent.
Prayer of Praise
Son Of God, Word of the Father, God's only-begotten, Jesus Christ! You are the radiance
of the invisible God, the image of his glory. Through You all things came into being, and without
You nothing came to be. You are the Redeemer, the Savior of sinners; there is no other redeemer
or savior but You. In Your name alone is salvation. To You is given a name above all other
names; a name before which everything in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, must bend the
knee. You are enthroned at the right hand of the Father, Yours is the Father's kingdom and glory,
to You belongs all worship. You are our Lord and king. Let this be our only care, our life, our
eternal joy to know, to love, and to worship You, and in You the Father who sent thee.
Let us give thanks to the Father, for having made you worthy to share in the lot of the saints in
light. He rescued us from the power of darkness and brought us to the kingdom of his beloved
Son. Through Him we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. In Him everything in heaven
and on earth was created, things visible and invisible.
All were created through Him; all were created for Him He is before all else that is. In Him
everything continues in being.
He is the head of the body, the Church! He who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so
that primacy may be His in everything.
It pleased God to make absolute fullness reside in Him and, by means of Him, to reconcile
everything in His person, both on earth and in the heavens, making peace by the blood of his
cross.
Prayer of Deliverance
Depart, unclean spirit, along with every satanic power of the enemy, every specter from hell,
and all your fallen companions; in the name of our Lord Jesus + Christ.
Begone + and stay far from this servant of God. Why, then, do you stand and resist, knowing, as
you must that Christ the Lord brings your plans to nothing? For it is He who Commands you.
Begone, then, in the name of the Father, + and of the Son, + and of the Holy + Spirit. Give place
to the Holy Spirit by this sign of the holy + cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns
with the Father and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
Prayer of Deliverance
Depart, unclean spirit, and acknowledge your condemnation, and pay homage to the
living and true God; pay homage to Jesus Christ, his Son, and to the Holy Spirit, and depart from
these servants of God, for Jesus Christ, our God and Lord, has called them to his holy grace.
Impure spirit, never dare to desecrate this sign of the holy + cross which we are tracing upon his
(her) foreheads. Through the same Christ our Lord, who is to come to judge the living and the
dead and the world by fire.
Though he was in the form of God, Jesus did not deem equality with God something to be
grasped at. Rather, he emptied himself and took the form of a slave, being born in the likeness of
men.
He was known to be of human estate, and it was thus that he humbled himself, obediently
accepting even death, death on across!
Because of this, God highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name above every other
name, so that at Jesus' name every knee must bend in the heavens, on the earth, and under the
earth, and every tongue proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ Is Lord!
Prayer of Deliverance
Leave, unclean spirit, and give honor to the living and true God. Flee, unclean spirit and
give place to Jesus Christ His Son. Depart, unclean spirit, and give way to the Holy Spirit.
Prayer of Deliverance
Depart, unclean spirit, the glorious Mother of GOD, the Virgin Mary commands you +;
She who by her humility and from the first moment of her Immaculate Conception crushed your
proud head.
O August Queen of Heaven, sovereign Mistress of the Angels, Who received from the
beginning the mission and power to crush the serpent's head.
We beseech thee to send thy Holy Angels, that under thy command and by thy power they may
pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks, and drive them
hence into the abyss of woe.
O Most Holy Mother, send thy angels to defend us and to drive the cruel enemy from us.
All you Holy Angels and Archangels, help and defend us.
Amen.
7. Anointing
I sign you + with the oil of salvation (blessed oil) in Christ Jesus our Lord unto life
everlasting.
R. Amen.
V. Peace be with you.
R. And with your spirit
The Prayers of deliverance after each scripture are taken and adapted from the Rite of Adult
Baptism, and the Prayer of Pope Leo XIII, COLLECTIO RITUUM Pro Dioecesibus Civitatem
Foederatarum Americae Septemtrionalis. Catholic Book Publishing Co, 1964
Conclusion
This time is set aside for praying any other prayers that the priest may feel useful or necessary, or
this time may be devoted to spontaneous prayer.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me; Body of Christ, save me; Blood of Christ inebriate me; Water
from the side of Christ, wash me; Passion of Christ, strengthen me; O good Jesus, hear me;
within your wounds, hide me; let me never be separated from you; from the evil one, protect me;
at the hour of my death, call me; and bid me come to you; that with your saints, I may praise you
forever and ever. Amen.
Prayer against Every Evil
Spirit of our God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Most Holy Trinity, Immaculate Virgin Mary,
angels, archangels, and saints of heaven descend upon me. Please purify me, Lord, mold me, fill
me with yourself, use me.
Banish all the forces of evil from me, destroy them, vanquish them, So that I can be healthy and
do good deeds.
Banish from me all spells, witchcraft, black magic, malefice, ties, maledictions, and the evil
eye; diabolic infestations, oppressions, possessions; all that is evil and sinful, jealousy, perfidy,
envy; physical, psychological, moral, spiritual, diabolical ailments. Burn all these evils in hell,
that they may never again touch me or any other creature in the entire world.
I command and bid all the powers who molest me-by the power of God all powerful, in the
name of Jesus Christ our Savior, through the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary-to leave
me forever, and to be consigned into the everlasting hell, where they will be bound by Saint
Michael the archangel, Saint Gabriel, Saint Raphael, our guardian angels, and where they will be
crushed under the heel of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.
From every sort of spell, malefice, witchcraft, and every form of the occult.
We beg you. Free us, O Lord.
Lord, you who said, "I leave you peace, my peace give you", grant that, through the intercession
of the Virgin Mary, we may be liberated from every evil spell and enjoy your peace always. In
the name of Christ, our Lord. Amen.
