To whom it may concern,

It is with pleasure that I am writing this letter for Ms. Shanda Browne in support of her pursuit of
an elementary teaching position. She is a caring educator that seeks to do what’s best for her
students and has the potential and desire to learn from others to continue to improve her
practice.

In my experience of working and collaborating with Ms. Browne over the past three years, she
has demonstrated her caring nature by taking time to get to know her students, conferencing
with them one-on-one when she notices a concern, celebrating individuals and the whole class
when they’ve shown academic growth or outstanding behavior.

Ms. Browne has also demonstrated her desire to learn from others and continue to grow in her
practice through being a collaborative member staff. She actively engages and participates in all
professional development, seeks out support from other staff members, and supports others
when she sees a need.

Our school has benefited from Ms. Browne’s careing nature and desire to learn, and I am
