Description of class: there are 18 students in the class. The students have been
studying English for three years the students have basic information about
domestic animals.
Timetable fit: the lesson content will focus on talking about domestic animals and
their young ones.
Assumptions: while working in pairs or groups, students can be noisy; some may
be more passive.
Predicted problems and possible solutions:
1- Some children may have difficulty in solving the task- the teacher offers them
linguistic props and assigns students into pairs
2-The students have problems in pronunciation; the teacher has the students
repeating the words/ phrases, individually or in chorus
3- There are a few students who have a lower English level; they will get extra
guidance from the teacher and help from their mates.
Brief description of the lesson: In this lesson, the students will practice the
vocabulary related to domestic animals and their babies, solve a crossword puzzle,
riddles, match words, complete a poem and they will sing a song with farm animal
sounds.
Materials: worksheets, pictures, laptop.

Main Objectives: the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
-Talk about domestic animals and their babies
- Use the words given in sentences of their words.

Learning Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
- O1- Read the text aloud using appropriate pronunciation;
- O2- Guess the meaning of the new words using context clues;
- O3- Provide differences between two pictures in terms of animals;
- O4- Use the words given in sentences of their words;
- O5- Spell the words correctly.
