you will listen to every word I’ll say”. And to my classmates please stand up as your name is called.

It was July 26, 2030, sakay ako noon ng Air Canada going to Guimaras. Wow ang sarap isipin after 10
years, after 10 long years ay eto ako at muling babalik sa bayang pinagmulan ko. Para bang sandal lang
ang sampung taon na ipinamalagi ko sa Vancouver.
Palibhasa ay marami akong nainom na pineapple juice ng mag stop-over ang eroplano sa Incheon
International Airport sa Korea kaya medyo feel kong ma- CR. Nang lumabas ako eh napansin ko sa di
kalayuan ng CR ang isang babaeng di naman katabaan. Nasabi ko tuloy sa sarili ko, “parang si Ellen
May Nopat, hindi siguro” to confirm ay lumapit ako and Ellen recognizes me. She is with Ramie

And as I turn the pages, nagulat talaga ako. Michelle Canja – She is now the Systems Engineering Dept.

Zone. Samantalang si Reciel Jay Floro is working as Customer Solutions Manager in Fujitsu Philippines
based on Iloilo City, Bea Jean Felomine is currently the director for Alliance Dept ng Hitachi Philippines
based on Boracay, Aklan. Charie Mae Geregale is Networking Consultant of Cisco Systems
Philippines. At eto pa, kung tutuusin ay sa angking ganda at talino ay di naman malayong mangyari.
Nikmar Salapantan has been the Chief Technology officer ng Samsung in Philippines for the last 5
years.
Nang mapagod ako kababasa ay naidlip ako sandal. I don’t know kung ilang oras o minuto akong
nakatulog basta narinig ko lang ang sabi ng flight attendant na “Please fasten your seatbelt , were are now
boarding Guimaras International Airport”. I’m so excited to see my family at the same time my friends.
While waiting for my things at the baggage counter, I turned on my Iphone and tried to read my
messages. I’ve got a lot of new messages. On the top of it is from a friend of mine, Helen Therese
Galabo who is now the new Management Information Systems Manager in ASTEC Power Inc.. And as I
open the message, napangiti na naman ako kasi ibinalita ni Gladys Batilaran about the proposal project
of her husband Marx Jayson in Banko Central and she invites me to their baby shower. By the way
Gladys is the general manager in Deka Sales until now.
This time I tried to open my other mails, andun yung advertisement ng isang Online Ordering Website. At
pagkakita ko pa lang ng title alam ko nang kay Alexis Aira Maron together with her business partner
Femia Liguan, Glimelyn Gardose and Ronalyn Introducion ang site na yun. Sinong mag-aakala na
ang simpling groupchat niya since college ay magiging e-commerce solution site. Next na inopen kong
mail ay galing kay Sygred Petero who is currently the MIS director of Petron Philippines. The last one I
opened is from the College president of Guimaras State University, Juanisher Escarpe. She wants me to
be the guest speaker on one of their school activities. As I heard that the new dean in College of Science
and Technology is Katherine Denisse Lusica.
After that ay sinalubong na ako ng family ko sa arrival area. Nang nasa bahay na ako ay nakatanggap ako
ng phone call. I answered it, it was Kathreen Joie Pacure . Nangamusta lang kung nakarating na ako ng
pilipinas ng maayos. Actually we are neighbours on Canada. She is with his husband and she has her own
BPO company there. After that I decided to watch my favourite news channel, the headline of the news is
the CEO of IA Application no other than Angel Mae Bacle. She really slay the floor.
Next Day, I have an appointment with Christine Mae Bandiola. She is known to be the CEO of no. 1
Internet Solutions Firm in the country, the Bandiola Online Services. I am 10 minutes earlier sa
pagkikitaan naming building. Maraming naka black suite na lalaki ang nakasunod sa akin. Naabutan kung
magkausap sila ni Rona Guinsatao, she is the Senior Administrator of a multinational Oil Company in
Saudi Arabia. I walk headed towards them. I greeted them both “Good Morning I am Julie, Operations
Head of Micros---.” Hindi ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko nang may yumugyug sa balikat ko. “ Pre
bugtaw akigan tah karon ni Sir Sam.”
Susmaryosep, panaginip lang pala lahat ng iyon. Parang totoo. Parang kanina lang Ako ang Operations
Head ng Microsoft. Pero kung nanaisin at pagsusumikapan natin lahat ng mga pangarap natin abot kamay
din lang. Gaano man kahirap, gaano man kataas.

And at this point in time, I’d like to ask my classmates n asana after 10 years no matter what happen, no
matter what it takes, we will be here in Guimaras State College once again, in the future Guimaras State
