DHWANI : THE COMMUNICATION SUBSYSTEM

DESIGN

1. Introduction
Communication System Design of the Rover is the most critical aspect of attaining a
good networking scheme between the rover and the base station which employs the RF
communication protocol - Zigbee IEEE 802.15.4. over a range of approximately 1.1 km.
System is designed to be compatible with both US(900Mhz) and EU(868Mhz) unlicensed
bands along with 2.4 Ghz. The following list is the estimated list of required electronic
components that are required to implement the design with their available market prices.
We have taken the best and cost effective parts to be used in the rover.
