    This study investigated the heritability of personality disorders in children by examining personality traits in twins between the ages of 7 and 14. The researchers administered personality questionnaires to twins and their parents to assess traits related to personality disorders. Their preliminary results suggested that several personality disorder traits, such as aggression and dependency, showed moderate heritability during childhood similar to heritability estimates for adults, though shared environmental influences were also significant predictors of traits.
