Black History Month Concept:

VO: While society has progressed in a myriad of ways, stereotypes still exist. Are all black
people good athletes?Is she more beautiful because she has light skin?Are all asians naturally
just good at math? In enforcing these stereotypes, members of these races are pressured to
conform to these ideals, leaving those who don’t fit into the mold to be left feeling alienated.
Breaking stereotypes starts with voicing our opinions.
