Safty Attachment for ladders

4. Plan of the Project

4.1 Introduction

A ladder is a vertical or inclined set of rungs or steps. Ladders are widely used in industrial
works and also household. According to the World Health Organization documents for
industrial safe and household safe, there are more than plenty of industrial injuries and
emergency room-treated injuries and deaths in annually caused by falls from ladders. The
most common injury made by ladder climbers is bruising from falling off a ladder, but bone
fractures are common and head injuries are also likely, depending on the nature of the
accident.

Because of

 Selecting the Wrong Type of Ladder.

 Incorrect use of ladders and use other applications.

 Applicable in wrong places such as uneven grounds.

 Not concentration for safety.

 Loss of balance.

By using this safety attachment with the leader we can minimize the risk of accidents and

also can be able to use the ladder in uneven grounds with safe.
 4.2 Objective

The goal of this project is basically to build a more effective safety attachment for the leaders
and reduce the risk of accidents that can be happen from the normal ladders. Also, according
to this attachment no need to modify the ladder and just have to attach this attachment to the
ladder.

4.3 Aim of this project

 To prevent somewhat above mentioned cases.

 To use the ladder with wide areas with the safe.

 To overcome the unbalance falling causes.

 To use ladder in uneven grounds.

4.4 How do I design the project

 Design as external attachment, so that it can be easily used with ladders and not require
modifying the ladder.
 To use automation with this design for the effectiveness and safe.
 To use gravity changing mechanism to overcome the falls caused by unbalance.
 External extension provide for the uses in uneven grounds.
