Right now I studying in Indonesian university of education on geography departement

I'll explain what kind of rock.

Lets go begin

IGNEOUS ROCK

The rock are formed by freezing of the magma

Basalt : formed by the magma than ran until it reaches the earth surface in the form lava and then
freezes quickly

Granit : minerals form from quartz ortoklas, freezes slowly And far from the earth's surface.

Gabbro : formed by magma and freezes slowly at the earth surface (plutonic). So a minerals grow bigger

Andesite : colored dark grey that is formed as lava is basat.

Diabase : formed by the magma than ran until Near to the surface

Dacite : igneous rock and light grey colored with plagioklas minerals

SEDIMENTARY ROCKS

The rock are formed by deposition process for minerals

Chert : formed by The deposition is going on at the bottom of an ocean.

Conglomerate : clastic sedimentary roks and composed formed from fragments of minerals and a rock.

Sandstone : clastic sedimentary roks and The inside there are grains of sand.

Nummulites limestone : bioclastic sedimentary rocks and fulfilled by foraminifera nummulites fossil

Kaslsilutite : Formed in the deep ocean floor.

Calcarenit : These rocks are formed in the marine environment.

Metamorphic rocks

The rock are formed form origin rock then affected by pressure and temperature

Quartzite : the rock are formed from sandstone quartz metamorphosis

Serpentinite : It is a change from the ultramavic rocks and composing the crust of the ocean

Mica Schist : white silvery colored by its presence mica minerals

Phyllite : is a change of clay stone


Marble : is a change from limestone
Gneiss : coarse grained and show the layes
