Reminders HOMEWORK Spring Break is March 7TH GRADE 26 – March 30, 2018 7TH grade This week students will begin reading Warriors Don’t Cry by Melba Patillo-Beals. We will be studying the Tues: Read Ch. 2 of Progress Reports go metaphorical context used in ch.1 in addition to looking WDC (be prepared for home on March 9, deeper into our main character by studying entrance tickets) 2018 characterization. Thurs: Read Ch. 3 8th GRADE Sketch Quotes This week students will begin reading To Kill and 30 min. or more of Mockingbird by Harper Lee. We will focus on 8th grade reading every night characterization of Atticus, one of our characters, writing and complete sketch objective summaries, completing focus questions, as well Mon: Read Ch. 2 of quotes ( 2 per week) as identifying the narrative structure of ch. 1-2.
