Objective
The students will explore materiality through the limiting of scale,
material, time and imagery. This is the second lesson in a series of
four where the student will think critically about risk taking. The
previous class students decide on two art pieces to inform their
sculpture for today's lesson. In this lesson students will work
together in groups to construct a sculpture from various materials,
informed by pictures chosen in the previous lesson.

Clean up.
Blue: Gather and dispose of waste material, recycle wherever possible.

Green: Gather leftover materials and store them in their designated areas.

Red: Gather all tools, clean them if necessary, and return them to their
designated areas.

Purple: Wipe off table, remove any glue, paint, or foreign matter.

Individuals: Store your Project in your cubby, and place sketchbooks on my


desk if this is Tuesday.
