The Professional Regulations Commission’s (PRC) website is the main source of data used for the table above.
As it is with other fields, PRC presents its top schools in categories. For PT, the categories used did vary but the lowest
limit was “with 5 or more examinees and at least 80% passing percentage.” Given that limit, only UST consistently
made it in the list of top schools for four years. UP-Manila and PLM were in twice while Cebu Doctors’ University
and DLSU-DHSC once. To eliminate these categories and come up with an over-all top 10 in consideration of the
PRC ranking, then, the limit used for the table above is simply “with 20 or more examinees” with exception. Once a
school has entered the top 10 in whichever exam date, the limit ends. Take for instance, UP-Manila. Even if UPM
had below 10 representatives for January 2011 exam, it was still considered in the ranking because in the other exams,
it was among the top performing schools per PRC limit. In cases where schools do not have representatives on certain
exam dates, the divisor used in deriving the average is adjusted accordingly.

the post i think is a bit bias since we have no exact figures of how many took the exams, like if only 1 person
took the exam then he passed, immediately the school will get 100% rating, i think its better if you post it like
2000 to 2005 then 2006 to 2012 and also make a category like top performing school with more than 100
examinees, or with 1-10 examinees, 11-20, 21-30 like bracketting so that we can really identify whose school
performs the best for the decades regardless of how many examinees they have, but Kudos to UP, UST and
DLSU they have been consistent in the Top 3 for decades now…. Go Green Archers!!!
