 Discuss the Course Map for this semester

 Discussing the creation and importance of a Dropbox Folder.

 Discussed a few ‘house rules’ for the rest of the project.
 Discussing the next step, which is designing a Work Breadown Structure and a Gantt
Chart.

AGENDA:

 Modify Gantt chart and make recommended changes.

 Discussing research conducted on five processes found on styrene production. In
addition, another method of production using Toluene and Methanol was mentioned
which wasn’t found on research done.
 Briefly discussed memos and short presentations for week 4-9.
 Discussed opportunity and possibility to conduct local site visit to styrene
manufacturing companies.
 Discussing the next step, which is conducted detailed research on each process to be
equally distributed by group members which includes; process descriptions, block
flow diagrams, details on raw materials, uses, chemical properties, pros and cons of
each process.
 Each member to add research done on Dropbox folder with name so to be reviewed
by supervisors.
