for our students.We will have housing on a first come first serve basis for our students though they must contact us within 2 weeks of being hired to
secure the housing. Once the manager has an email from the student, they will send you instructions on applying for the housing .HOUSING IS OFFERED
AT AN INCREDIBLE LOW PRICE OF $30/WEEK AND STUDENTS MUST COMMIT TO STOP AND SHOP FOR THE WHOLE SUMMER. Any students who take 2nd
jobs must do so with the flexibility that their Stop and Shop job is their priority. Students who leave their job at Stop and Shop will have to leave Stop and
Shop provided housing. Students should arrive with enough money for 3 weeks ($750-$1000) to ensure a successful start to your program.

Stop and Shop Supermarkets offers students a dynamic job with lots of customer interaction. Upon arriving to work for Stop and Shop Supermarkets, you
will be placed in a department that has the biggest need at that point. Students must be flexible with their placements and speak with their manager if
they have any concerns. We rely on our students to help us have a successful season and we will do our best to make sure everyone succeeds in our team
driven workforce.Any student that starts prior to Memorial Day (May 29th) will be required to pay Union Dues. Union dues are $9.45 a week plus an
additional initiation fee of $100. This initiation fee of $100 will be deducted from students paycheck for a 10 week duration, beginning on July 1. In total,
students will have a $19.45 weekly deduction from weeks 1-10 and a $9.45 weekly deduction from weeks 11 onward which will cover the union
dues.Taxes in Massachusetts are high - students should expect that roughly 15% of their income will go to taxes.Cape Cod towns are all very small and
quiet with not much nightlife. It’s more about enjoying nature and the beaches than experiencing American nightlife unless you are thinking about
stargazing.Cape Cod has very LIMITED public transportation. There is a regional bus with limited hours so most student bike or walk everywhere. Often
time housing is rather far from “downtown” areas.
