2017 Who We Are
2017 Who We Are
2017 will mark the 50th year the May Cheong Group has been in existence. The
company has been manufacturing high quality toys during most of its history, and
while the primary focus is currently in die-cast replicas and radio control vehicles, it
was not always so vehicle-centric. From the 1980's when we created a line of vinyl
flocked animal toys called Forest Families, to an exquisite and intricate line of
electronic Christmas accessories in 1993, to a line of dolls in 2007 called Drama
Queens, we have never been just about vehicles.
ABOUT OUR COMPANY
The company was founded in 1967 by P.Y. Ngan and his brother, Y.C. Ngan. Joined in
the early 70's by P.Y. Ngan’s wife Katherine, the company soon established itself as
one of the premier toy factories in Hong Kong.

FACTORIES
Our pristine factories employ state of the art machinery and equipment, and we
constantly strive to produce better and safer products in a more efficient and
environmentally-conscience manner.
Our products are manufactured primarily of metal and plastic, and packaged in
paper. 100% Of the trimmings and cuts are recycled either in our factories or
through our suppliers.
Our shipping cartons have no metal staples so they can be recycled easily at
store level.
Our products are designed in a manner that uses less plastic and less paper –
which in turn consumes less trees and natural resources, and produces less waste.

Hong Kong and California.
MCG produces more 1/18 and 1/24 vehicle replicas than any other company in
the world.
