Thave been acquainted with Jennifer Zaffetti for the past year in my capacity as clinical supervisor for the
University of Connecticut, Neag School of Education. In all my contacts with Jennifer, I've found her to be an
enthusiastic, self-motivated, dedicated, and industrious teacher. Jennifer has outstanding rapport with her students.
She keeps excellent discipline and manages both her time and her students’ time encouraging an effective learning,
environment.
I've observed confidence in Jennifer’s approach and concern in her relationship with students. Her positive
interaction with students is evident in the overwhelming growth both academically and socially her students
demonstrated last year. She provided for individual differences among students monitoring and adjusting
continuously, demonstrating her understanding of child development as it pertains to instruction.
Jennifer consistently demonstrated a deep interest and untiring effort in striving for academic excellence in the
classroom. She encouraged learners to perform up to their individual abilities, helping students become
independent leamers, risk takers, and active classroom participants, She communicated expectations and
established an environment that was conducive to learning, She cooperated fully with colleagues/school personnel
and was receptive to advice given her by her cooperating teacher and University supervisor.
1 am impressed by Jennifer's constant enthusiasm and comprehensive understanding in implementing Eureka
Math, as well as using Expeditionary Learning for Language Arts and guided reading groups. In addition, she has
‘experienced and acquired invaluable knowledge in integrating technology into curriculum utilizing a
‘SmartBoard®. Jennifer learns quickly, is perceptive, and is a keen observer. She adapts readily and demonstrates
the capacity for in-depth learning and task commitment, She has impressed me with her initiative and innovative
nature,
Jennifer is a self-motivated teacher who is quite competent in all academic areas. She consistently performed
duties, responsibilities, and prepared work efficiently and effectively. She has demonstrated traits of a mature and
confident adult. She is a good role model and advocate for her students.
Jennifer is a committed teacher, capable of making a significant contribution in whatever area of education she
pursues. Ihave a high regard for her teaching abilities and opinions.
am most happy to be acquainted with Jennifer and am pleased to recommend her for a classroom position.
