Performance management of Ball Corporation

1st Step

 Ball corporation collected information why their employees was unable to achieve the company’s goal. The
process of setting goals which included by Ball corp was helpful to improve the performance of their
employee’s.
 Their Talent Management practices continue to evolve in support of their Drive for 10 business strategy.
They must strategically select, develop, retain and engage their workforce, and provide them with
opportunities to thrive.

2nd step

 They started a new program by training plant leaders on how to improve performance and on setting and
communicating daily performance goals .
 They formulate management plans and it is the process of solving problems which shows their performance
management behavior.

3rd step

 Ball corp. started to implement those management plans .They communicated and tracked daily goal
attainment by distributing team score card to the plant work team.

4th step

 After monitoring the conditions, Ball corp. started to give training and coaching to their employee’s for
developing the skills which was required for achieving the goals.
 They reviewed in detail the whole process without leaving any error in the system. In that process we can
say that it included the interpersonal skills of their employee’s.

5th step

 All of the steps was helpful for Ball corp as it increased their production and also reduced customer
complaints and obtained a Return on investment.
 They adjusted and refined their management plans to achieve the success.
