Narrative Report on Educational Tour (Cebu-Bohol)

Educational tour offers an opportunity for a rich immersion experience, and a

tremendous way to facilitate learning. In an educational tour, students have chance to

experience and explore much deeper level than they ever could in the classroom. We

the third year students were out of town and been in Cebu-Bohol for almost 5 days.

We assembled at the school at exactly 2:00 pm to waited for the tour bus going

to the pier, I am in a mixed emotion that time i felt excited cause it was my first time to

travel and discover new places and a little bit nervous because it was my first time to be

far from my family for a days. We reached at the pier at exactly 3:00 pm and waited for

our departure going to Cebu at 6 O’clock pm. While i was in the boat and looking at the

sunset and to the sea i felt happy and amused on how god created such a beautiful

thing like this, i felt so calm and relaxed of what i have seen and suddenly I realized that

we should take good care of the things that god created for us.

February 7, 2018 (Wednesday)

At 8:30 am we arrived at the Cebu Port. The

first placed that we visited in Cebu is the NG KHAI

Development Corporation. they discussed and

explain to us what is the important of hardware

sales, network installation, software sales and

training, consulting, as well as customized

development. It currently has software packages

for local government’s tax and revenue system, small banks, Human resource,

accounting, and also point of sales systems. Ng Khai offers these solutions running

either on a stand-alone system, on a client-server configuration, or web based .firewall

to the server and how to use it.

After which we’ve went to Innodata Inc. we are the 1st batch who entered to the

company, they are very

strict to their visitor’s but

there services was a very

excellent. They use ID

for their access in each office and their applicants was not only an ICT graduates, there

was an other professions/professionals, and their server is much protected as well. We

know that Innodata Company was a global

digital services and solutions company, and

they serve publishers, media and information

companies, Digital, retailers, banks, insurance

companies, government agencies and many

other industries. After that we visited the

historical and tourist spot in Cebu City one of

this is the Magellan Cross where F. Magellan,

a Portugues colonizer, came to Cebu under

the flagship of Spain. The cross planted by the

order of Magellan because they believe that the place is the heart of Cebu city or very

known sugbo on that time. The next historical spot that we visited is the basilica de Sto.

Niño Cathedral Church of Cebu is the place where devotes and visitors from any other

towns nationwide and foreign countries visited specially during sinulog. It is a very holy

place and it is also a place of love, joy and hope. After that we had a dinner at Mang

Inasal in park Mall at Mandaue City and short tour in Cebu we check in at the hotel to

relaxed and to prepare ourselves for the another day of our activities.

February 8, 2018 (Thursday)

We woke up early in the morning to prepare ourselves going to Bohol and I’m

very excited about it at 6:45 am we arrived at Bohol safe. we first headed at the famous

tourist attraction in Bohol. I

was very excited to see the

view of chocolate hills. When

we arrived there I saw those

high stairs, which at the top of

it is the view of chocolate

hills. It looks like a women

shape, they covered with grass which at the end of the dry season it turns chocolate

brown, and at other times, the hills changes to green, including of this tour that we won’t

miss is to visited the BOHOL TARSIER CONSERVATION AREA, The Philippine tarsier,

(Tarsius Syrichta or Carlito Syrichta) is very peculiar small animal. In fact it is one of the

smallest known primates, no larger than adult

mens hand. After that we just past by in Man

Made forest of Bohol ,This beautiful 2km long

human-made mahogany forest in Bohol was

created over 50 years ago as part of a

reforestation program. Next spot where every

tourist want to experience in Bohol is the

floating restaurant it is a restaurant look like a

boat that will travel you along the river where

you will amaze how beautiful the nature is. I

also enjoyed the eat all you can food that they

have in that floating restaurant where I satisfied. Lastly we visited the Baclayon church

is one of the famous spot that every tourist visited in Bohol this church is one of the

oldest church in the Philippines. At 5:45 pm we departed from Bohol going to Cebu city

again and check in to the hotel for us to relaxed and sleep.

February 9, 2018 (Friday)

Our last day in Cebu City we’ve

Check out already in Hotel Pier Cuatro

and we proceed to our First destination

before that last day we had a Breakfast

first in Sugbahan Mandaue City, after

that we go to Mactan Shrine visited the

Mactan shrine, heritage Cebu

Monument, After visiting the monument

of Lapu-Lapu we visited the MANDAUE TRAFFIC CITY COMMAND CENTER they

help to monitor the traffic and road situation within the city. They explain and discussed

to us what is the important of using CCTV and how it helps to solve a case if there is an

accident. And at 6:00 pm we

departed from Cebu port to Iloilo. I

really enjoyed and learned a lot

from the places we visited in Cebu

City and Bohol. I also conclude

that our country is so blessed to

have all this histories and tourist

spot that we can proud of to other

countries.
