To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to express my interest in applying for an elementary-level teaching position

in your school district. My passion for students and learning would enable me to be a
strong member of your team. I believe that I have the worth ethic and compassion for
filling this position and would prove to be an asset for your school.

I am currently student teaching at Jayhawk Elementary in Mound City, Ks. I have had
experience in a first grade and a variety of fifth grade classes. During my time student
teaching, I have begun to gain knowledge and practice in effective discipline during
difficult situations. As a team player, I have learned to keep my academic expectations at
a realistic but high standard. I’m familiar with the state standards, and at the end of this
current semester, I will have gained valuable experience on what it takes to give state
assessments to a diverse group of students.

Thank you for taking the time to review my credentials. I look forward to visiting with
you about the contribution I can make to your team. I would appreciate an opportunity to
demonstrate my love for teaching, my self-motivation, and energy that I will bring to my
classroom daily.

Sincerely,

Chessa Chrisman
