Powering Waffle Iron:
1. Place Waffle iron on a flat surface that can handle high heat with the handle facing you. 2. Plug in the power cord to a power outlet. (see picture to right)

Operating Waffle Iron:
1. Make waffle mix according to directions on preferred waffle mix package. 2. Turn the waffle iron on by switching the switch to on. 3. Twist the knob to preferred temperature setting. 4. Wait until Blue light (# 4 on key) turns green. This is letting you know it's hot enough to put waffle batter in. 5. Using the handle lift to separate the griddles. USE CAUTION GRIDDLES ARE HOT 6. Spray top and bottom griddles with preferred cooking spray. 7. Carefully pour about a ½ cup of batter into the center of the bottom griddle. 8. Close top griddle. 9. Grab handle and twist counter clockwise for second set of griddles. 10. Repeat steps 5-7 for second waffle. 11. Wait 3-5 minutes for waffle to cook depending on temperature setting. 12. Once waffles are cooked to your liking and desired level of crispiness carefully use plastic fork to remove waffles from griddle. (Using a plastic fork ensures griddles don't get scratched)
Cleaning Waffle Iron:
1. Turn off waffle iron. 2. Unplug cord from outlet. 3. Wait until griddles are cooled off. 4. Using a wet paper towel wipe down top and bottom griddles thoroughly. 5. Using a dry paper towel wipe off excess water from griddles. 6. Place waffle iron back where stored.
