Job Description of Date Scientist

We are looking at resource with following profile for starting data science development at
beginning:

 Graduate/post graduate with Math’s.

 Consistent math grades from high school and onwards.
 Should be aware of tools like R and SQL programming.
 Basic Statistics: Tests/Distribution/estimators.
 Known algorithms and implementation i.e. k-nearest neighbors, random forests,
ensemble methods.
 Multivariable calculus and algebra.
 Data Visualization and communication.
 Logical and data-driven thinker.

1. Understand maths for ex:

 Linear Algebra for Data Science.
 Matrix algebra and eigenvalues.
 Calculus for Data Science. Derivatives and gradients.
 Gradient Descent from Scratch. Implement a simple neural network from
scratch.
2. Sub quantitative methods
 Regressions
 Transforms
 Sets
3. Who finally write algos
4. Could be in any language specifically in Python, R.

About the Internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with technical resource for driving out equations
2. Understanding and explanation of results based on formulas
3. Learn to understand DB and data analysis using SQL/R
