Relevant
Experience and
Value Deepwater
Diversified Well Logging crews recently completed an 18-month deepwater project on
GOM the drill-ship Discoverer Spirit. During this on-going project the DWL crew became
an integral part of the drilling operations team by delivering timely and accurate data.
During this process we gained valuable experience as the rig and operator set a GOM
drilling depth record. In addition to working closely with the drilling community on
the rig, we were the direct contact with the well-site geologist, exploration geologist
and exploration manager, providing up to date surface formation evaluation and
sample archiving.

DWL crews know that communication is first and foremost to a safe and successful
work environment in the deep-water GOM. We keep in constant communication
with key personnel involved in drilling the well. At DWL, we believe the exchange of
pertinent data between company-man, logging engineers, driller, derrick man, shaker
hand, geologist, MWD and other service company hands is essential to a smooth
operation.

Pressure detection through proper sample evaluation, drilling parameter monitoring

and mud gas analysis in real-time provides the necessary data to save valuable rig time,
also providing a level of well safety.

In addition to drilling services, the DWL crew provides comprehensive monitoring

while tripping and circulating. Applying the same communications skills to these
processes to ensure a sharing of data such as connection times, flow out and fluid
transfers. In additional to communications, all parameters are constantly updated to
the active database for a complete well history.

No well would be a success if not completed without safety in mind. The DWL crew
is proactive in all rig safety programs and strives to contribute to the overall safety
success by participating in pre-tour safety meetings, safety drills and from time to time
leading the safety meetings. To encourage and reward participation, each DWL crew
member receives a $20/day safety bonus on all deep-water GOM wells.

Corporate Profile
& Business Case
Diversified Well Logging, Inc. is a privately held, family owned business. The Klibert
family has been involved in mud logging since 1952. Mud Logging and mud logging
related services are not only our specialty, they are our only passion, insuring clients
our undivided attention to their needs.

The mud logging business has changed a lot since 1952, and over the years we at
Diversified have made it our goal to keep of with those changes. We are proud to
be a part of this dynamic industry, and we never forget the most important aspect,
formation evaluation.

The backbone of our service rests firmly on our experienced field and support
personnel. The average Diversified logger has ten plus years experience in the field. In
addition, our support staff averages twelve plus years of experience. However, we do
not rely on experience alone; we also provide our field personnel and clients with the
latest technology in mud logging instrumentation, gas detection, chromatographic
analysis and sensors. We combine these technologies with in-house software
development to provide the client with reliable and timely data.

Our specialized experience includes deep-water, deep-shelf, carbonates and Mobile

Bay. In association with these areas Diversified has logged deep-water, high angle wells
(three year Shell Ram Powell project), deep shelf (Shell - 26,000’) HPHT and on
the newest technology semi rig Cajun Express (Murphy, Dominion, Spinnaker), as
well as Shell “Joseph”, Chevron “Cadillac”, Petrobras “Transocean Falcon 100”, Murphy
“Transocean Marianas”, Devon “Big Bend” and Unocal “Drillship Discoverer Spirit”,
which set new records that include the deepest well drilled in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico
at 34,189’MD.

Diversified is currently logging the following, high profile projects: Exxon Mobil
“Blackbeard”, Chevron “Cajun Express”, and Murphy “Thunderbird”. In addition to
these successes, we were a pioneer in the real time transmission of mud logging data,
working over 30 wells for Mobil Oil in deep-water and GOM shelf. Our reputation
for quality with the Mobil data center led them to hire two of our unit managers to
work in their data center. Diversified is providing real time data (Well Wizard) for
Dominion, ORX, Pel-Tex, McMoRan, Marathon.

At Diversified we are committed to continued improvements in safety and service.
