Library of Souls Book Description 

 
This last book continues the story, after Hollow City, where Jacob, Emma,
and Horace escape the Hollowgast due to Jacob’s peculiarity. On their
way back to the train station, they notice a severely injured man that has
the gift of speaking in the monster's tongue. They leave and then find
another man named Sharon which takes them into a loop called, “Devil’s
Acre”, where he says that the Ymbrynes were taken to. After getting
attacked on their way there, they finally land, but their boat is badly
damaged. A woman offers to help them, and as they agree, they learn that
she has hundreds of peculiars drugged and held captive. They find out
that all that is controlled by Hollowgasts and then, they go to Smoking
Street where she says they're at, which leads to a deadly fight and the
peculiars get away. They are taken to Mother Dust who heals them using
peculiar artifacts. The house that they are currently in, is a machine itself
called, “Panloopticon”, which Bentham created. He reveals to them that
his sister it Alma Peregrine and he was brothers with the wights that
attacked them in the past. A man that came with the peculiars (Jack) is
obsessed with capturing the Ymbrynes and finding the loop to Abaton
and the Library of Souls to steal all the souls in there. Will Bentham,
Jacob, and Emma be able to stop Jack?
