In this Change Management course, you can expect to gain knowledge and skills needed to select an effective
and timeless change management approach. You will learn to identify the alignment between planned change
and the business’s strategy, and carry out your change management plan within your industry.

anticipate resistance, and gain collegial support

WINNING OVER KEY STAKEHOLDERS AND INFLUENCERS
• Identify key stakeholders and effective stakeholder
management strategies
• Identify different consulting styles for change management
• Learn how to pitch a case for change to a stakeholder
MODULE 3
DEVELOPING STRATEGIC CHANGE INITIATIVES
• Identify the need for change management intervention
• Understand the four levels of intervention in change management
and why they are effective
• Analyse the management-readiness assessment data and
correctly choose an appropriate strategic change initiative

ADDRESSING RESISTANCE AND REMOVING BARRIERS
• Identify the different types of reactions and resistance that occur
in a changing organisation
• Understand the different approaches to minimising
an organisation’s resistance to change
• Articulate the significance of change resilience in an organisation

Rentia studied her Bachelors, Honours and Masters degrees in Industrial Psychology at Potchefstroom
University. She has worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Direct Axis, an HR Practitioner
and Assessment Advisor for the Centre for Professional and Personal Insight at the University of Cape
Town and started her own company in 2017 called Landman Consulting where she works as an Industrial
Psychologist. Rentia has been described as an amazing leader, motivator and Project Manager due to her
integrity and fairness.
