Top Public Concerns
 Air pollution concerns have been increasing in the last few years. A high
percentage of Spaniards are worried about air quality, carbon emissions,
particulate matter, refrigerants, and methane emissions.
 Water Pollution greatly concerns citizens. Related issues include acid rain,
ocean dumping, urban runoff, oil spills, and waste.
 Climate change and issues related to global warming, which include the
greenhouse effect and the gradual rise of sea level.
 Consumerism is an important issue too. The effects of over-consumption
should be analysed.
 Natural disasters, which have become more common due to climate change.
 The disposal of waste which involves litter, landfills, recycling, incineration, E-
waste, and cotamination of water and soil caused by improper disposal of
waste.
