Following are our comments on design and drawings submitted by you –

Dwg. 020 R1 :

Section A-A. : Already approved column is a vertical cantilever which is supporting horizontal cantilever
(Bracket) which is again supporting 16m height of lift walls and lift load which is another vertical
cantilever. The proposed system is full of cantilevers and shall have huge deflections during earthquakes
and wind cases. Drawing shows 50mm gap between concourse slab (or platform slab) and lift beams.

Please provide justification of providing this 50mm gap during earthquake (with R=1 for all above 3
cantilevers).

Section C-C: Bracket depth of 1.5m is provided. Please double check depth of bracket for R=1 case.

Section C-C: Clearance between ground and bracket bottom to be checked as per road requirements.

Dwg. 021 R1 :

RC detail of beam marked LB3: The detail of corbel shown in this section is not the proper detail. The
same comment have been raised by us in our previous comments also.
