Thursday April 12th 6:00pm-7:30pm: What is life like in CILAs?     

This presentation will focus on what life is like living in a CILA (Community Integrated Living 
Arrangement). We will have presenters from different adult service agencies including: Trinity 
Services, Seguin Services, CTF, and others. Our presenters will discuss applying to live in a CILA, what 
a regular day in a CILA looks like, what types of supervision are available for different CILAs, and 
much more. Attendees will be given time at the end to ask questions of our presenters. 

  

Tuesday May 1st 6:00-7:30pm: What services and resources are available to DRS clients? 

Our featured speaker is Mike Parvis. Mr. Parvis is the program advisor for the STEP programs 
throughout the Chicago suburbs. He has been an employee of DHS/DRS for the last 28 years. He will 
explain how adult services work when the students exit school services. He will discuss what is 
available for adult DRS clients, how to access services, and what the expectations are of being a DRS 
client.  

   

   
There is no charge to attend. Free parking. 
Seating is limited- No child care is provided.
