Learning motivation is a condition to stimulate someone to learning for reaching the goal. It can
be influenced by some factors, one of them is perception. The intention of this research, to know
the connection between Student University perceptions about nurse profession with the PSIK
learning motivation student University of Jember. The free variable in this research is the student
university perception about nurse profession, and the banded variable is learning motivation. The
use design of the research is correlational with the approach method cross sectional. The sample
use is 260 students with sampling technique, random sampling. The score shows the student
university perception about nurse profession in PSIK University of Jember got 80,03% with the
score 70,43. And the PSIK student university learning motivation got average 74,72% with the
score 123,29. Based on the score of research that p-value (0.001 ⦟ 0,05) means there is a
connection between student university about nurse profession with PSIK student university
learning motivation of Jember with the correlation score (r) is 0,363 means get the low score.
Perception is privacy attribute that is gotten by one’s cognitive capability. Perception is one of
the factors to make a manner and student university learning motivation. This research can be
used by education institute as an evaluation subject, with it the student university is expected to
increase their learning motivation and getting the maximum average.

The connection of student university about nurse profession with PSIK student university

Motivation is in individual person to make a motivation for reaching a goal. A motivation makes
someone’s wish to learn. Learning motivation is in individual person to study hard. Someone
who has a high learning motivation will get a zeal and energy to get daily learning activity.
Motivation learning is influenced by some factors are privacy attribute, environment and
relationship system. This Privacy attribute as cognitive capability is perception.

The goal of this research is to know the connection of student university perception about
nurseprofession with learning motivation of PSIK student university of Jember. The research
design use is correlational with approach method cross sectional. The population is the degree
student of university 2015, 2016 and 2017 PSIK university of Jember is 810 students. The
sample technique use simple random sampling with the sample total 260 students. The collecting
data use questioner instrument, questioner of student university perception about nurse
professionand learning motivation questioner was done the validity test and reability before. The
used statistic test is Pearson correlation, because the normal distributing data with a ⦟0,05.

The average score is got, student university perception about nurse profession in PSIK university
of Jember achieve 80,03% with the total score achieved 70,43. Even though, PSIK student
university learning motivation of Jember achieved 74,72% with the total score 123,29. The
average of correlation statistic test Pearsonshows the score p-value = 0.001. it can be
summarized that Ha accepted and Ho rejected means there is student university perception about
nurse profession with student university learning motivation. The correlation (r) average is
0,363. It shows the correlation between perception and motivation is low. Perception is one of
the motivation learning’s influence factors PSIK Student University of Jember. As higher
Student University perception as higher of their learning motivation. Student University should
have a good perception about nurse profession until able to increase learning motivation to be
professional nurse. The summery of this research is the connection between student university
perceptions about nurse profession with learning motivation of PSIK Student University of
Jember. The submission of the research is expected to be one of evaluation about Student
University learning motivation. The hope, the student university to be more understands how to
increase the learning motivation of themselves with the maximum score of learning.
