 Asking my MST for a feedback.
 If the students are enjoying the classroom that mean they are understanding the lesson.

Sound Awareness
 Make sure that all resources are ready before the classroom

 The resources are more than the student’s number ‘for
example 24 student in class I will have at least 2 papers
extra’.
 Check the technology ‘laptop is fully charge, projector is
working and connecting’.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

 Singing the hello song and telling the students that we will start the lesson.

 We will do ‘catch the letter’ game the resources needed for the game is; flash cards and
‘fly catcher’.
The game will review for the students the revisit sound they learned. ‘s, a, t, i, p, n, m, d, c,
o, g, b, k,w’

 I will ask the students if they know some words with sound /r/,


Time: 15 min

Then I will show them the flash cards and they will know some new words start with
sound /r/.

1. Which letter is this?

2. Any one knows what sound of this letter?

3. Can we say the sound together?

4. What is this?

5. Guess what I will have in the box?

6. what is the first sound of this subject?

7. Can you give me some words start with sound /r/?

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

They will do the letter R as ‘rain’ and ‘rabbet’, they will have cotton, glue, water drops paper, rabbit’s ears
paper, goggly eyes.
Activity
; Some group will do the rain and the others will do the rabbet.

20min Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

They will have a paper with pictures and they have to find the picture start with sound R and colour it.

Then they have to write letter r by following the dots they have.
 Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

They will do letter r with the cubes they have.

 After the activates we will back to the circle area and do an activity in the circle area with

the whole class. The activity it will be in the computer and I will put it in the projector so all
students can see.

 Activity: different pictures with different sounds and the students have to choose the
