July 2017 – current SPS Programmer (Crankshaft Balancing Unit)
Schenck Rotec GmbH on the behalf of Ferchau Engineering GmbH, Darmstadt, Hessen, Germany
 Developed complete PLC and HMI program of a Crankshaft balancing machine according to the
customer (Volvo Sweden, Volvo China, Kamaz Russia and GM Mexico) requirements.
 Developed complete program for Gantry system and MES (Prime system), worked on S7300
safety PLC, Sinamics S120, Sinumerik system and HMI PRO CS during the project.
 Developing a program for machines according to customer requirements after consulting design
department and taking all the safety features into consideration.
 Working on S7300 safety PLC, WinCC Flexible, S120 Drives over Profisafe, Festo safety valves etc.
 Supporting commissioning team on shop floor during commissioning.

 Developed PLC, HMI, Robot Programs for a grinding application of Glass using KUKA Robot &
ROBOWORKS
 Developed PLC, HMI, Camera, Robot Programs for a Glass alignment (accuracy +/- 0.2mm) using
Keyence XG8000 Series Camera.
 Developed PLC, HMI, 2D Reader programs for an application with Cognex QR code reader to
read the QR code printed on the glass and to avoid mixing of different-2 models.
 Done two Retrofits of high volume furnaces, changed their Control Logix PLC program and their
SCADA from VB to Factory Talk.
 Retrofit of a glass laminated furnace and changed its whole control system (obsolete S5 SIEMENS
PLC) to new one having S7-400 PLC resulting increased productivity and efficiency.
 Developed a PLC, HMI & FANUC Robot program for Glass Inspection line and reduced its cycle
time to half, resulting reduction of manpower, reduction of handling rejections and increase in
productivity/efficiency by cycle time reduction.

 Commissioned, with the help of a great team, $1.2 Billion hydro-power project at Karcham-
Wangtoo two months before the scheduled commissioning date. It earned company $ 100
million in extra revenue.
 Was involved in Installation & Commissioning of MIV, Digital Turbine Governor DCS & SCADA
(PCS7).
 Was involved in laying of all the cables and its loop checking.
 Was Involved in Programming of Plant auxiliaries Like LT/HT, Transformers, 400kV GIS, Unit
Protection system, Excitation System and their interlinking with the main SCADA
 Developed complete logic and electrical circuit of SPS (System Protection Scheme) and
implemented it on field resulting reduction of false tripping of the plant.
 Done no. of KAIZENs and made KWHEP a zero tripping plant.
 Installed, commissioned and established communication of power meters (SENTRON PAC 3200,
SATEC PM130 PLUS) installed on Feeder Protection Panels with SIEMENS S7-400 PLC over
Profibus.
 Identified and resolved Areva’s C264 BCU (Bay Controller Unit) communication (IEC 104)
problem with SCADA System by using Wireshark v1.10.5.
 Organized training programs to train staff on diagnosing and solving electrical problems.
