To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Miss Clarissa and it is a pleasure and privilege to do so. I
became acquainted with Clarissa this year, as she is a student in my senior English class. She
excels academically and her high GPA is proof of that. She currently has a 3.8 and has also
taken junior college classes while also handling the demands of her rigorous high school
schedule. She has taken Psychology 1A, Sociocultural Anthropology, English 1A, and English
1B in preparation for her college career.

Clarissa has a warm and genuine personality and has been able to communicate and work well
with others. She demonstrates her competence, energy and commitment to others in every task
she undertakes. Clarissa has remained an active member of her church making that a big priority
in her life. While attending junior college and taking multiple classes, she also managed to take
Advanced Placement courses at El Capitan High School to further prepare her for college. She
wants to be a Psychology major and work towards her four year degree, then moving on to get
her Master’s Degree and become a family counselor. She will be the first in her family to attend
college which will be quite an accomplish for her and a proud moment for her family. She is
truly an impressive young woman with a bright future.

Clarissa’s motivation in the academic arena as well as in her personal life is impressive and it
shows in everything she does. I have no doubts about her future successes and endeavors. I
believe that Clarissa should be at the top of any group of applicants when being considered for
scholarships. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you should have further questions. I look
forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Tara Morgan-Ramirez
