SSI Lift Advantages
SSI Lift Advantages
SSI Lift unit Advantages
Pumping Configuration
Ideally suited to high volume, high load, difficult pumping systems.
Ultra long stroke configuration allows highest capacity rod pumping systems.
Long strokes minimize rod, tubing, and pump wear due to less cycles for the same volume.
Largest lifting capacity (80,000 lbs) enables pumping high volumes from deep wells.
Power unit can be driven by electric motor or gas/diesel engine.
Manufactured in ISO 9001 certified facilities in Canada.
Several different models to match well production design
Production Optimization
Highly intelligent system.
Can match pumping conditions to well productivity.
Adjustments to stroke length and stroke speed are adjustable while the unit is running, without
shutting down.
Up and down stroke speed can be independent.
Acceleration for up and down can be independent to maximize pump fillage, and minimize rod
stress.
Adjustable load limits
Ability to remotely monitor operations to react quickly to operating conditions. Alarms are user
adjustable and are built in to the intelligence.
Ability to analyze well pumping conditions via internally generated pump card.
Efficient operation, resulting in lower or equal power consumption compared to other lift
systems, and significantly lower power costs compared to ESP’s.
Field Operations
All adjustments to operations are done on the power skid. No routine operations are required
at the pumping unit.
Able to space out the rod string with a simple adjustment without touching the pumping unit.
No need to touch the bridle or carrier bar.
Safety
No routine operations are required at the pumping unit. Operators do not need to access
moving parts.
Braking system is inherent in the system. No mechanical intervention is required to fully lock
the unit safely.
Counterbalance is nitrogen, which is easily adjusted rather than large steel or concrete weights.
Do not need any pickers or cranes to change counterweights or stroke length.
No guy wires required.
Few pinch points.
4 times safety factor on lifting cables.
Transportation and Installation
Smaller and lighter design allows for significantly less shipping weight
Pumping unit and power skid fit on a single truck
One truck with picker, and 2 people can install a unit in 4 hours.
Small footprint allows minimum site preparation, and allows tighter wellhead piping
configuration, if required.
Maintenance
Extends time between workovers since longer stroke enables higher volume with fewer
rod/pump cycles
Simple to move back from wellhead for servicing. Unit self aligns when moved back into service.
Does not require any cranes or trucks.
Hydraulic systems have proven to be robust in multiple industries, around the world, including
agriculture, mining, manufacturing, automotive, and aviation.
Well defined maintenance program requires few preventative maintenance actions. All
maintenance can be conducted with minimum downtime.
Commercial
Over 1,000 installations around the world
Competitive capital cost
Lower installation cost
Best in class total cost of ownership
Extended well run time
Can provide full pumping system including pump, rods, anchors, pump base, etc.
Alternative financing is available
