    Servicing shift mechanism


    Removing and installing selector lever lock solenoid -N110 and wiring for
    selector lever illumination

    ‒ Remove selector lever handle=>Page 37-9.


    ‒ Remove central console.

    => General body repairs, Interior; Repair group 68; Trays, compartments and trim
     
    ‒ → Disconnect connector -1- (console
    wiring).
    ‒ Using a screwdriver, press in metal
    tab on underside of solenoid -2- and
    at same time turn solenoid about 90°
    in direction of arrow. Take out
    solenoid.
    ‒ Check selector mechanism after
    replacing solenoid=>Page 37-16.
    ‒ Route cable for selector lever
    illumination under guide -3- and fix
    into notch -4- (left/right).
    ‒ Clip connector -5- into retainer on
    guide.
    ‒ Reconnect connector -1- (wiring
    console).
