Dear Mrs. Searjant:

I am writing to request the creation of a school basketball team. As of the current moment, many students
share the opinion that the school needs more, and a wider variety of accomplishments than the few that is
obtained. There are quite a number of male students who are interested of trying to manage a successful
basketball team. If needed, we will raise all our funds, and organize all the training sessions necessary.
The only thing that is required is a teacher to supervise us, which we can also organize if needed, and if
possible and you know anyone, contact with a coach. There are multiple basketball leagues which take
place in San Fernando for secondary schools, as well as in Port-of-Spain. With some training and a person
to find out about the leagues, there can be success with the team. It would also be a great experience for
the students, as well as better the reputation of St. Stephens since there will be more interest in activities
other than academics.
