 Designed wedding floral arrangements with values ranging from $1,000 to $20,000.
 Delivered arrangements (up to 50 + pieces/wedding) and coordinated with other vendors to minimize set-in time.
 Actively communicated with customers to determine and fulfill their needs while building lasting relationships/ customer
loyalty.

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
Supply Chain Leadership Council – Undergraduate Ambassador November 2016 – Present
 Liaised with Coca-Cola SWB Demand Manager to organize a production center site visit.
 Learned about the breadth of Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages’ product portfolio and the complexity inherent in a supply
chain that distributes over 700 SKUs of varying shelf lives, both produced and purchased, across Texas and parts of three
other states.
 Received insight into the future of Coca-Cola manufacturing as 40-year veteran Production Center Manager, Buddy Moore,
explained about the exciting prospect of in – line blow molding (ILBM) implementation.
DMHP Freshmen Mentor Program August 2016 – Present
 Counseled 3+ freshmen on course arrangements and 5-year plans for professional development and accompany mentees to
community service events held by the Office of Student Volunteerism.
 Instructed freshmen on the value of continuous growth and improvement in all aspects of academia.

RELEVANT COURSEWORK/PROJECTS
Product Costing and Competitive Comparison project
 Developed a 16-page report using Excel to analyze the production costs of Folger’s and Maxwell House products.
 Calculated the Product cost (sum of direct labor, direct materials, and manufacturing overhead) for both companies and
analyzed it versus retail price to determine profit margin. Because of their lower product cost and a profit margin of $5.66 (a
20% markup), Folger’s won our investment recommendation.
Lean and Six Sigma Processes (OPRE 4310) / Logistics and Inventory Management (OPRE 4330)
 Lean Six Sigma: Cultivated knowledge of Kaizen and ways to achieve continuous improvement. Made use of DMAIC and DFSS
to improve and design processes. Knowledge equivalent to yellow belt certification.
 Logistics: Studied the application of Economic Order Quantity and Just-In-Time Manufacturing in managing inventory.
