India won the toss and chose to field first.

Indian team had a change in their Playing XI’s, Umesh Yadav had been replaced by Ravichandran
Ashwin whereas South Africa also had change, they replaced Andile Phehlukwayo in the place of
Wayne Parnell

Speaking about the performance of India against Srilanka, they had lots of misfields in that match.
But today the team was well prepared for today’s match.

South Africa had a good start, both the openers Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock had a good
partnership until the sixth over.

R Ashwin took first wicket of H. Amla whereas De Kock continued him until he made his half century.

Openers of the team had gave them a good start but the middle order misunderstandings between
the players was the cause of their loss.

Indian ballers had showed wonderful balling efforts, especially Jasprit Bumrah who gave 28 runs and

South African team ended up their innings with 191 runs.

South Africa gave target of 192 runs in 50 overs.

Indian openers Sikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma had a partnership till five overs with 23 runs. Then
the captain came onto the pitch and took over the charge.

Sikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli had a partnership of 100 runs, both the players made to their half
century. Sikhar Dhawan made 78 run and was out.

Yuvraj Singh accompanied Virat Kohli for the run chase.

Yuvraj Singh ended up the match with a SIX.
