Teaching a lesson to the class is always fun, throughout this activity it was great to be

able to use the UBI Smart board for practice. When creating the lesson we planned that our

presentation was going to go smooth and simple, however once we started to use the UBI I

realized that working with this technology in a classroom can be difficult and a teacher really

needs to know how to work with this equipment as I imagine it is probably pretty costly and we

want to make sure it last in a classroom. All of the presentations that were presented by our

classmates were really interesting. It was great to see how everyone had us go up to the board

and interact with the UBI, this is a great way to keep the classroom engaged in the lesson at all

times.

Like we have discussed throughout in this class, the use of technology in a classroom is

really important and needed. This activity showed how teachers can integrate technology in any

subject, however must have in mind that the important concept is not the technology but what the

objective of the lesson it, technology is only a tool that we can use but not take advantage of. I

really enjoyed this activity, as we also got to practice the TEKS of different grades and subjects. I

had never really looked into them, however after this assignment I now know how to access

them and start taking a look into them. I really like the way that they are presented, I do believe

that this makes the teachers Job easier as they are able to see exactly what the students should be

learning and divides all the sections in a organized friendly way.
