HIGHLIGHTS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Regional CPI For FY 2017 was approximately 2.2% vs. a1.86%

increase in governmental funds operating expenses
• Hurricane Matthew cost approximately $1.3 million, with the
County responsible for 12.5% or approximately $160 thousand
• $20 million in GEFA debt, with an average rate of 3.63%, was
refinanced down to 2.79%
• Main construction of Clarence E. Morgan Complex
approximately 66% completed
• Employee retirement and insurance restructured
• Privatization of Public Works, Water & Sewer, and Wastewater
Treatment Plant operations by partnering with EOM
