Bumper cover, removing and installing

Note:

„ Due to model variations, small deviations must be

considered during removal and installation.

- Remove tail light assemblies

Repair Group 94, Lights, lamps, switches
- exterior; removing and installing tail
lamp assemblies

- Unscrew bolts - 5 - in area of left and

right wheelhousing liner.

- Pry out expanding rivet - 4 - in area of

left and right wheel housing liners using a
screwdriver.

- Remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 - from

below.

- Remove bolts - 6 - from above.

A second technician is required for the

rest of the removal procedure.

- With a second technician, pull cover - 1

- parallel out of guide profiles.

- Disconnect connectors of electrical

components present, license plate light

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

- Make sure gaps are parallel and pay attention to gap

dimensions
