Symptom

Unable to get cell height or width size less than .42cm in webi document table

Environment

SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform 4.0 SP2

Reproducing the Issue

1. Navigate to WebIDefaultStyleSheet.css in C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\images

2. Change the default line : min-height:0.40cm; to: min-height:0.20cm;
3. Create a new Webi report, notice that the cell height size is set to 0.2cm in the format toolbar however, the effective height is greater than 0.2
4. Try to reduce the table cell height, notice that the minimum height that can be reached is 0.42cm Please refer to the attached doc for screenshots

Cause

There is currently a minimum of .42 cm for width and height for a data cell in webi. You can migrate reports from XI 3.1 that contain smaller sizes, but if you modify those

The issue has been identified as product defect and logged under problem report ID ADAPT01639276

Resolution

This issue was resolved in SP04 Patch 5.
