INTRODUCTION
E-commerce is a transaction of buying or selling online. Electronic
commerce draws on technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic
funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet marketing, online
transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory
management systems, and automated data collection systems. Modern
electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web for at least
one part of the transaction's life cycle although it may also use other
technologies such as e-mail.
• User resistance: User may not trust the site being unknown
faceless seller. Such mistrust makes it difficult to make user switch from

CONCLUSION
Being able to buy any time, any place, anywhere, provides exciting
opportunities not only for Dixons customers but for the Group as a
whole, and these benefits are likely to increase over time. Potential
customers, the site enables them to browse before they shop, and to
research the product so they have more confidence in what they are
buying. For Dixons, the site offers greater exposure and increased sales.
Like all the best arrangements, there is something in it for all parties.
