PROCEDURE FOR TRANSFERRING STAAD OUTPUT TO AN EXCEL SHEET

1. Go to Staad ‘ANL’ file and choose the outputs that are to be

transferred
to an Excel Worksheet.

2. Copy the selected outputs from ‘ANL’ file.

3. Paste the copied outputs in a blank Excel Worksheet. The outputs
will be seen as continuous text in each row, without any formatting.

4. In the Excel Worksheet, select the first column of the outputs, and
click ‘Data’ in the top Menu bar and click ‘Text to Columns’.
5. Then ‘Convert Text to Column Wizard’ will appear on the screen.
The width of each column can be adjusted to suit in the ‘Convert
Text
to Column Wizard’, as shown below. After adjusting the column width,
click ‘Finish’ in the ‘Convert Text to Column Wizard’.

6. YOU WILL NOW SEE THE SELECTED ‘ANL’ OUTPUTS IN EXCEL
