4x4AG: AGM 3 March 2018
Bookings are closed
4x4 Action Group AGM on the 3rd of March
Venue: Barnardsvlei 4x4
Plan:
Arrive the Friday or Saturday morning early and setup Camp
AGM starts at 10:00am sharp (will not exceed 40 mins MAX!)
Light Fires around 11:00 during Committee Meeting
Braai and go drive the track\trail
Sunday Morning we all make breakfast together, pack up and go home
What to Bring:
Your wife and kids etc are welcome to attend.
Bring your own chairs, meat, drinks, cutlery and crockery.
Everything you would normally take to go camping or a day out 4x4'ing
depending on what you decide to do.
Remember there is no electricity, so be prepared!
Cost:
The AGM is only for members of the 4x4AG, as we always believe in
giving back to our members you will only pay R250 per 4x4 for the
weekend, including 2 nights camping and all the 4x4'ing you can think of!
THE CLUB WILL COVER THE REST OF THE COSTS
Please pay into our club account using Reference: Name + AGM
Example: CripsAGM
Proof of payment sent to chairman@4x4actiongroup.co.za books your

spot and gets you on the attendee list.
About the Venue:
Barnardsvlei 4x4 is a 1500 hectare mountain farm in the Magaliesberg

mountains.
The farm is situated 15 minutes from Mooinooi, North West Province.
The farm is closed to the general public.
They pride themselves in the beauty of the farm and every nature lover
and 4x4 enthusiast will also fall in love with this piece of gem in the
Magaliesberg.
Free range game can also be found on the farm which include Eland,
waterbuck, nyala, bushbuck, duiker, baboon, monkeys, jackal and
leopard.

Camping:
We will be camping at Maroela campsite:
Ablution consists of 2 flush toilets and a shower with warm water (
donkey )
4 communal pit braais
River passes alongside camp
Plenty of shaded trees
Other stuff:
There is a 3hour long 4x4 mountain route to the top of the mountain
with spectacular views
4x4 obstacle course alongside camp with some serious technical
obstacles.

They only allow members of recognised 4x4 Clubs in as part of Club

The training that we were scheduled to attend on Saturday has been

cancelled so we will be attending.

Now to pull out my merger camping gear and check it's still usable.

GPS Co-Ordinates to the camping site:

S25°48'01.6" E27°32'17.4"
Their gate is next to Afri-Sun's gate (Afri-Sun has a green gate and they
have a boom gate next to it I am told)
So if you get stuck just google Afri-Sun and follow those directions.
