    The water supply to the National Institute of Technology Calicut campus is being rescheduled due to reduced availability from the pumping station as a result of bad climatic conditions. All hostels, quarters, and apartments will receive water from 6-9 AM and 6-9 PM, while other locations will receive water from 8 AM to 1 PM. Residents are requested to conserve water by avoiding uses such as gardening and agriculture, and closing taps after use. Unauthorized water uses may result in disconnection of supply and fines. Any leaks or pipeline damage should be reported immediately.

    NOTICE

    Ref:- Engg/AE1/Water Supply/2018 08.03.2018

    The availability of water at our pumping station is reducing day to day due to the bad
    climatic condition. It is observed that the consumption of water is very essential to reduce it with
    the co-operation of each consumer. In order to manage the campus water supply effectively, the
    supply of purified water is re scheduled as follows.

    Locations Time of Delivery Valve closing

    All Hostels, Quarters and Apartments 6.00AM 9.00AM

    6.00PM 9.00PM

    Other Locations 8.00AM 1.00PM

    The inmates are also requested not to use the precious water for the purpose of
    gardening, agriculture activities etc. and avoid other wastage of water by closing all taps after
    use in time. It is also informed that if any occupant uses water other than domestic purpose, the
    water connection to that occupant will be disconnected and fine will be imposed for unauthorized
    usage of water.

    In addition to this, any leakages or damages of pipe line/specials anywhere in campus,


    noticed the fact may be reported to the Engineering Unit Office without delay in writing or by
    telephone.
