EXHIBIT 2 – WELL TYPE

SCHLUMBERGER RFP – CASING HARDWARE, INDIA, WESTERN COAST-OFFSHORE

1 Tentative Well Program

The tentative Program is to install 2 Platforms, one in the B#9-1 area and another in the B#9-3
area, lay pipe line to nearby ONGC installation and evacuate gas through ONGC facilities. Initially
only 3 Wells will be drilled. From the available data, it appears that challenges like well activity,
annulus activity and stuck pipes are prevalent during initial drilling and steps would need to be
taken to mitigate these challenges. Three casing policies have been tentatively considered. First
option is 9 5/8” completion, 2nd Option - 7” Completion, 3rd Option - 7” Completion with
additional liners 16” & 11 3/4”. Preferred plan is the 2nd option as the completion is planned only
in the Daman formation; the Mahuva formation will not be opened. The cement rise for 13 3/8”
and 9 5/8” Casing will be inside the previous casing shoe. Liner hangers will be expandable type
with metal to metal seal. Liner hangers will be rotating type. Gas block will be used in all stages
of cementing. Gel mud to be used for 26” phase and all other phases high performance water
base mud will be used.

In first well in B-9-1, 18meter core will be cut and testing will be conducted for 96 Hr. (flowing
period).

In B-9-3 also the well will be tested for 96 Hrs. (flowing period)
